About Me

What I'm Into

I like problems that span layers — from billing systems processing thousands of records a week, to splitting a neural network across a phone, an edge server, and the cloud. Right now that means researching split-inference systems with Prof. Feng Wang, in collaboration with the University of Memphis.

Beyond Code

Outside of research and my internship, I TA core CS courses at Ole Miss, guiding 49+ students through object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms, and I build side projects at hackathons like EmoryHacks.

Education & Recognition

Based in Oxford, MS, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Mississippi (Aug. 2024 – May 2028). 3.87/4.0 GPA, Chancellor's Roll every semester, and a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College (top 5%).

Where I've Been

B.S. Computer Science, Minor in Mathematics

@University of Mississippi

GPA 3.87/4.0, Chancellor's Roll every semester, Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College (top 5%).

Oct. 2024 – Apr. 2025

Undergraduate Research Assistant

@UM Thad Cochran Research Center

Programmed industrial robots (Wlkata, Epson) in Python and C++ for autonomous pharmaceutical preparation, cutting contamination risk by 85%. Built data pipelines with pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.

Jul. 2025 – Present

Computer Science Teaching Assistant

@University of Mississippi

Guide 49+ students through OOP (Java), data structures, and algorithms; review and optimize 300+ programs weekly, improving code quality by 20%.

Jan. 2026 – Present

Undergraduate Research Assistant, Distributed AI Systems

@University of Mississippi (Prof. Feng Wang) x University of Memphis

Implement split-inference systems in PyTorch that partition DNN execution across device, edge, and cloud. Built a two-machine distributed inference pipeline over TCP, verified within 1e-4 of single-machine output, and profiled all 22 AlexNet split points across WiFi, LTE, and backhaul links.

Jun. 2026 – Present

Software Engineering Intern

@C Spire

Handled 100+ weekly zero-payment errors in a production Perl billing flow, preventing batch-wide failures. Built a Python automation that auto-issues ServiceNow tickets for flagged accounts, saving on-call operators 30 minutes a day.
